Parkinson Quilt

Back in 2011 the Parkinson's Society was asking people to make quilt blocks for the world quilt. I paid my dues and made one to submit for the quilt. 1600 people made blocks. The nearby hospital rented a section of the quilt and it just so happened that my block was in the section they received. I /got a phone call from them letting me know they had it so I could come and see it close up. It was nice to see it al stitched together. a couple days latter I received another call from a man at the hospital who wanted my permission to write an article about it and post it in our local paper with photos. Who would have thought that I would have been a celebrity. LOL Here is a picture of my block. I am so glad that I had the time to make this block.
