Happy Valentines Day to Everyone.
Well another month has gone by. We are glad to see all our visitors from the north are returning. We are enjoying the time we spend with everyone helping find colors and seeing projects you are working on at the time.
I have a lot of new fabric arriving in the shop. The latest is called Artistic Spirit Shimmer by Northcott. It has a metallic shine to it that makes the fabric look like it really is shimmering. Also from Northcott is Toscana, this is an almost marbled fabric which comes in many colors. I also received some new novelties from Timeless Treasures that include Baseballs, Footballs, Pool Balls, Sandals, Flamingos, Florida Flamingo, sand, shells, and more. I have bingo, playing cards and more on their way soon. From Wilmington Fabrics I have some really nice apron panels with matching Placemats, wall-hanging panels with a coordinate to each collection that can be used on the back or as an accent. Alex Anderson has a new collection coming out in April by RJR Fabrics called Flutter. OH! The Batiks by Jinny Beyer are beautiful. She is known for her rich dark colors and she doesn't disappoint with these. There will also be some batik charms with her collection. I have them all coming.

Plain & Fancy Block of the Month Block 1 is ready. They can be picked up now. Preorder your kit for Block 2 now the cost is $22.00 per kit or you can preorder all the fabric with the pattern to make the whole quilt top for $198.00.
Block of the Month #2
Daydreams Block of the month Blocks 1,2 and pattern is ready to be picked up for $54.00. The rest of the blocks will cost $24.00 per month to finish the quilt top. You can order the whole quilt top at once in a full kit for $174.00. I have 1 full kit cut and ready to go.

Beginner Quilting - Teacher: Pam

Fri, March 7, 14, 21, 28 & April 4 from 10am – 12pm
The goal of this class is to teach you how to construct the quilt blocks using the book "Start Quilting" by Alex Anderson and create a small throw size quilt. You will learn how to use the tools and sewing machine to piece your blocks and assemble them into a quilt top ready for quilting. There will be some homework blocks to make so we can get the sampler finished. If at the end of 5 weeks we need more time we can add another class for $15.00. There will be some supplies needed for this class which you can purchase from the store with a discount of 10% off.

This will be an easy table runner that you can make for 2 holidays or seasons or any fabrics you like and any size you like. One on each side so you can reverse it to use both sides. The size will be 10 x 42 but you can make it bigger if you like.
