Hi everyone I hope this finds you all well and sewing up a storm. Another month has gone by. I have many new things and some changes to report. : ) Here we go!!
Be sure to mark your calendar for my 1 year anniversary onNovember 12th-15th. I will have some great giveaways from fabric companies, goody bags and a nice raffle prize from me. It's a 32" LED TV. With every $25.00 purchase you get a ticket into the TV drawing. I will start collecting tickets in October. Can you believe it is almost a year already. The Fabric companies have already started sending me the door prize giveaways. I think you will be happy.
The fabric in the sale room is looking pretty good as some of you have already seen. The cost is $7.00 a yard. I am slowly adding some other items. I am discontinuing all the yarn and crochet books & hooks. So if you need yarn come on by and take a look. Vannas Choice yarn is $2.99 a skein.
One of the new fabric additions in the shop are American made Brand Solids. They are fully American made right from the growing of the cotton to the making of the fabric. The cost is $7.99 a yard just like the other solids. So far I have 20 colors as of right now. I will receive 10 new bolts per month until I have them all. I made a table runner out of the Autumn Glow fabric using Karen Montgomery's pattern Easy Striped Table Runner Pattern. Out of the fabric they recommend you can make the table runner and 2 placemats. It is really easy with only 5 seams to sew. From Wilmington Fabrics I have some nice 2 1/2" strip in different color packs coming. They are smaller 20 count packages. Come on in and see the samples. I also have some Halloween buttons. Spiders, bats, pumpkins, Candy Corn and ghosts. They are so cute. Don't miss the tropical buttons like palm trees, and flip flops.

I had a visit from my sales reps from Robert Kaufman and he showed me some collections that I think you will like. They will start arriving in the shop in November. From Northcott I have all the colors of Shimmer 2 1/2" stripes from which I made a small sample quilt (see below). It isn't done yet just needs a back. I also have the 5" charms of shimmer. You get 40 stripes for $40.00 or 40 charms for $20.00. The turtle quilt is a new pattern I just got in the shop. I have not tried it yet but isn't it cute.

A new addition to the shop is precut and ready to go panels. So when you want a panel (cheater) you can select one precut on the wall using the corresponding number for easy selection. You don't have to wait for us to cut them. There will be wall hangings, 4 piece placemats, and aprons.
I now take debit cards for your convenience as a form of payment along with Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
I am making a change to the Quild discount. I have decided to give the guild memebers a discount of 10% off everything they purchase instead of the 15% off only the regular priced items not the sale room. This way it is fair to everyone.
